Our friendship began when we met in the LDS Missionary Training Center where we were both preparing to serve a mission in Washington DC. One of the first things we found out about each other was that we enjoyed art. The conversation, in my memory, went something like this:
H: " I am an Art major at BYU."
E: "You like art! I like art! Let’s be friends!"
It was that easy. Really.
Throughout the years we have learned that within this friendship where one person ends off the other person starts up. Which has created this rolling juggernaut of a creativity that we couldn’t stop even if we wanted to. Encouraging each other to develop our talents naturally led to joining forces. And we do like art!
Some of our past joint projects include murals, a series of paintings for an office building, various paintings for our own homes, and flowers for weddings.
